Left Cala Talamanca and made for Santa Eulalia, a modest half-day’s sail covering 10 nautical miles at an average of 2.4 knots. Wind 5–7 kn from the N, gusting to 16 kn. Seas up to 0.7m. Spotted dolphins in the distance on the way in — a nice surprise. The marina at Santa Eulalia has some shallow patches, and we found at least one of them the hard way, stuck briefly in the mud. The town itself is every bit as “Ibiza” as you’d expect, expensive restaurants and bars included.
